Sarolta Somogyi

My name is Sarolta Somogyi and I'm 26 years old. I was born and raised in Hungary near Budapest. While working at the Ferenc Liszt International airport as a police officer, I realized that my passions and interests all came from aviation. Since I was a kid, I always found myself looking up in the sky when I saw an airplane go by, and always loved learning about aviation. After 3 years as a police officer, I decided I wanted to become a pilot. Unfortunately, at the time, my English skills were equal to 12%; basically, I didn't speak English. I had then decided to go to the United State to learn English effectively. I moved to the US in 2019 and began flying in Seattle at Galvin Flight training. I found that living in Seattle it was very difficult to be a student pilot due to the weather. I decided in March 2022 to move to Dallas, Texas to continue my flight training where the weather is less cloudy. I am currently at Parrish Aviation and am working on my CPL.
