Sarolta Somogyi

My name is Sarolta Somogyi, and I am 28 years old. I was born and raised in Hungary, near Budapest. I began my professional career as a police officer at Louis Armstrong International Airport, where I developed a strong interest in aviation. From a young age, I was always fascinated by airplanes, often looking up at the sky whenever one passed overhead.
After three years in law enforcement, I made the decision to pursue a career as a pilot. At the time, my English proficiency was very limited, so I moved to the United States in 2019 to fully immerse myself in the language and continue my aviation journey. I began my flight training in Seattle at Boeing Field; however, due to challenging weather conditions, I relocated to Dallas, Texas in March 2022 to continue training in a more favorable flying environment.
I continued my training at Parrish Aviation at Dallas Executive Airport, where I earned my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument (CFII) certificates. I am currently working as an Executive Administrator at Air Transit Solutions, where I support daily operations while continuing to grow within the aviation industry.
In addition to flying, I am actively seeking opportunities to gain hands-on experience in aviation maintenance and broaden my overall industry knowledge. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, and I am open to all opportunities that allow me to expand my experience and become a more skilled and well-rounded pilot.
