Harvard Scholarships

Harvard Women in Leadership scholarship applications will open on November 15, 2025. 

Women in Leadership: A Program for Emerging Leaders is a three-day professional development program hosted by WAI and conducted by Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education.

WAI Harvard Emerging Leaders 2026 Professional Developments:

May 13-15, 2026, On Campus in Cambridge, MA

June 3-5, 2026, Online Program

November 4-6, 2026, Online Program

WAI Harvard Applications open November 15, 2025

To qualify for a WAI Harvard Emerging Leaders Scholarship, the applicant must be a current WAI member through November 10, 2026, or join as a new member by January 10, 2026. This program is for high-performing WAI members with at least seven years of career experience and an aptitude for leadership. 

30 current WAI members are chosen each year to receive funding support that will include program tuition, hotel and meals for the three days of the course. Selected participants are responsible for their own travel costs, including airfare and ground transportation.

Up to 45 attendees will be selected for each online program. 

WAI members may apply for one of the three program offerings. Applications must include a professional resume, a letter of recommendation, and a 500-word essay.  Review more details on document requirements here.
