Aysha Harward

I am a mom #1 and a pilot a few steps down from that. My first child was born in 2005. Following my medical leave, I became keenly aware that my life defined as being a good mother was more important to me than flying a cool airplane. I decided to leave the industry to raise my children and did so with my whole heart - even homeschooling them for 12 years. In 2018, my heart began to call me back to the industry. Since that time, I have been hired as a flight instructor with Flying High Again Flight School, obtained my CFII and MEI, was promoted to Chief Flight Instructor, hired at Contour Airlines as an ERJ FO and promoted to acting Assistant Chief Pilot within my first year there. I am currently a Talent Acquisition Partner with Wheels Up over Flight Operations and Maintenance hiring. In my position with Wheels Up, I have been blessed to meet and assist in hiring many amazing Aviators/Dispatchers/Aviation Technicians etc..... I love hearing their aviation journey and making a small difference along their path. Wheels Up has blessed my family in so many ways but most importantly to me, this position has allowed me to be a better mom by being able to be more present in my children's lives.
