Aviation's largest OEMs unite around gen­der equity in aerospace by discussing the im­portant role employee resource groups play. While the industry is seeing progress in the representation of women, there is work still to be done. At the current trajectories, it will still take decades to reach parity. ERGs play a major role in addressing the gap and pro­viding supportive networks to the women workforce. We will discuss our activities as it relates to professional development, advoca- cy, community engagement, and more. 

Internships and Co-Ops: Start Getting More Insight of Opportunities in the Aviation Sector

This session will include an overview of how to gain internships and the benefit that they have. Internships are a great way to find out what opportunities are in the aviation sector. They are also great for building experience that go just beyond a classroom. Internships also offer a value of finding mentors and con­nections in the industry. We will discuss tips for interviewing and preparing for internships. The presenters have various different backgrounds: Carly is an engineer major, Jack is a business major, and Catherine and Isabella are both flight majors.
