Is there an additional charge to get a WAI Fast Pass?
No, but you must be a current member of WAI and you must be registered for the conference to be eligible to obtain a WAI Fast Pass.
How many WAI Fast Passes can I get?
Members with a full conference registration will be issued passes for their top 3 choices (as available). Members with a one day registration will be issued passes for their top two choices (as available) for the day of conference registration.
How do I pick my company preferences?
Registered conference attendees will be notified by email when registration has opened to allow entry of WAI Fast Pass preferences.
Do I need to register my preferences right away to get my top picks?
Absolutely not! The time period for registering your preferences will be open for a few weeks. The order in which you register for preferences does not affect which company or days you receive, that will be determined solely by the ranking of priority points you have.
Is it possible to change the time of a WAI Fast Pass?
It may be possible to switch out a time based on availability. No guarantees can be made that other times or days will be available.
What are the hiring briefings?
During the hiring briefings individual participating companies will outline their basic application procedures, discuss current available positions and their requirements for employment as well as answer frequently asked questions. The briefings will last 30‐40 minutes. The schedule of briefings will be available online in February.
Will I be guaranteed a WAI Fast Pass? Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund if I don’t receive the fast passes I’m interested in?
Unfortunately, we cannot make guarantees as to the WAI Fast Passes that will be available for each company. You will be able to obtain a refund of registration fees less $75 if you do not receive the pass of your choice. After February 20, 2017 midnight EST, no refunds will be given.
Can I give my WAI Fast Passes to a friend if I can’t attend?
WAI Fast Passes are non‐transferrable and must be used by the attendee who registers. Each company will be verifying attendence.
What should I wear/bring?
Treat this as you would any other interview/face to face meeting with a potential employer.
