The Abingdon Co. has released the newest version of its popular Elise travel watch, Elise in Rosy. Available in eight different looks, the watch features three time zones on one circular face.

In an effort to promote the watch's debut and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Abingdon Co. will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales during the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The Royal Aeronautical Society's Women in Aviation and Aerospace Committee (WAAC) will host its 2015 conference on October 30 in London. The event will focus on the topic of sustainability and explore green technology and examine how the lack of resources may affect its development. The wide spectrum of forums, events, and resources coming to the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 now has an additional benefit as the center's "Tech Talks" will make participating pilots eligible for FAA WINGS credits. Infinite Variety Productions, a 501(c)3 NYC theatre company, has joined with The American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport, to tell the story of the more than 1,000 women who served their country as Women Airforce Service Pilots during WWII.

"Censored on Final Approach" by Phylis Ravel is the story of four WASP (Women Air Force Service Pilots), a group of roughly one thousand women hired by the United States Army Air Force during WWII to fly military aircraft and tow targe ts for live anti-aircraft artillery practice, thereby freeing male pilots for combat missions.
