
Planning to fly to Oshkosh this summer for EAA's 63rd annual fly-in convention? The FAA has released the EAA AirVenture 2015 Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) featuring arrival and departure procedures for the event (July 20-26, 2015).
The NOTAM goes into effect at 6 a.m. CDT on Friday, July 17, until noon CDT on July 27. Pilots flying to Wittman Regional Airport or nearby airports during that time should review the procedures. Some changes to the 2015 NOTAM include:
- MOA active in central Wisconsin
- TFRs near Milwaukee, July 25-26
- Fisk VFR arrival description
- Communication frequency updates
- IFR departure routings
