AV_logo_2color.jpgPilots flying in for EAA AirVenture 2014 can now download the 2014 Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for arrival and departure procedures into Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. EAA's 62nd annual fly-in convention runs July 28-August 3, and the NOTAM is in effect July 25-August 4.

While the overall procedures are similar to past years, there have been some updates since 2013, including:

  • Fond du Lac ATIS changed to 121.1
  • Expected Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) for Wittman Regional Airport on August 1-3
  • Closed runway 4/22 at Wittman Regional Airport is now 5/23
  • Air show waiver times changed on Sunday, August 3

Besides following the published arrival and departure procedures in the AirVenture NOTAM, pilots should maintain high vigilance in watching for other aircraft. Pilots are expected to have a copy of the NOTAM available for in-flight reference.

A free PDF version of the NOTAM may be downloaded at You may also request a free copy of the printed NOTAM by calling EAA Membership Services at 800-564-6322.
