There is a great need for the current generation of women in aviation to pass along their stories to inspire the ladies of tomorrow. Texas Woman's University (TWU) is right on task encouraging these women to preserve their memorabilia and record their oral history. Every woman has a story! You may think what you do is insignificant, but it could be the key influence for a young girl to enter into the incredible field of aviation.
Kimberly Johnson, the Coordinator of Special Collections at TWU, has the resources to help women all over the world with this archiving process. They have been collecting the biographies of women since 1932, and provide the largest depository of information for researchers and enthusiasts about women in the nation. They offer tours of the Women's Collection Library at their Denton campus, and send out exhibits to schools and other outreaches. Texas Woman's University is represented here at Booth 312 in the Exhibit Hall. Visit them to learn more and share your history!
