Yoga Class

Thursday, March 5

$10 per person

7 – 8 a.m.

Start your day off right with a rejuvenating yoga class. Class will be led by Eileen Simoneau with Chart it All and is appropriate for all skill levels. (Beginners welcome!) Mats are provided.

 

Mindfulness Workshop

Friday, March 6

$10 per person

7:30 – 8:30 a.m.

Mindfulness In Aviation, a one-hour workshop presented by Carl Eisen, a retired Airbus Capt. and UCLA trained mindfulness teacher. Topics will include what mindfulness is, stress reduction, improving situational awareness, improving on task focus, resilience in times of difficulty, and more. Short exercises will include guided meditation and mindfulness without meditation. Those with and without mindfulness experience are welcome.

Carl is the founder of Mindful Aviator, a mindfulness-based wellness resource for aviation professionals worldwide. In addition to his UCLA training, he is a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA), on the board of directors for the Sarasota Mindfulness Institute, and teaches mindfulness in several communities in Southwest Florida. Zumba Class

Saturday, March 7

$10 per person

7 – 8 a.m.

Zumba is a dance aerobic workout that features Latin music that makes you want to move. Everyone will enjoy the party atmosphere and easy to follow steps. Make sure you’re wearing workout attire and bring a willingness to have a blast.  Join Capt. Kelly Jeffries for a one - hour ‘flight’ around the world.  Zumba:  it’s exercise, in disguise!
