Twenty years of scholarships, ten million dollars awarded

With the announcement of the 2016 WAI scholarship winners in March 2016, WAI's scholarship program will award a cumulative $10,000,000 worth of scholarships to over 1,300 members, changing thousands of lives and launching and enhancing hundreds of aviation careers.

So far, 98 scholarships with a value of more than $480,000 are available

Women in Aviation International today announced the availability of its 2016 scholarships. As of July 1, 2015, 98 separate scholarships with a combined value of more than $480,000 are offered. WAI chapters around the globe organize unique local events

Funds to be used for September 26 International Girls in Aviation Day

Women in Aviation International received a $10,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, which drives global corporate citizenship and philanthropic programs for UPS.

WAI membership votes in new board members

Three new board members were voted in by WAI members at the association's annual membership meeting held during its annual conference.
