WAI Jazz with Wings Scholarship

Individual must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited two- or four-year college, technical institution, or certificate program with a declared interest in aviation. School must be a certified Part 141 flight school program, Part 91 flight training program, or a Part 147 aviation maintenance technician school.
Applicant must have an interest in instrumental music and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) if enrolled in a graded school. If not already enrolled and/or training, applicant must provide a copy of enrollment acceptance letter. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and a WAI member for a minimum of two years. The applicant's 500-word essay should address the following topics: financial need; who or what inspired you to pursue an interest in aviation and music; what career path or interest are you pursuing; what is your involvement in aviation, music, and community service.
