The applicant must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited two- or four-year college, technical institution, or certificate program with a declared major in aerospace engineering, minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Applicant must provide a copy of an enrollment acceptance letter, be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, and a volunteer in STEM and aviation-related events, and/or WAI activities. Submit a 500--1,000-word essay, typed and double-spaced, addressing the following topics: financial need; who or what inspired you to pursue a degree/career in aerospace engineering; what career path you are pursuing; how you are involved in aviation and community service. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient's educational institution. Funds can be used for tuition, books, or fees related to similar needs.
