Wings For Val Foundation has partnered with the woman-owned DARTdrones UAV Training School to provide a drone training scholarship for a female looking to get started in the drone industry. This scholarship includes the DARTdrones ultimate Professional Drone Pilot Package; a full day of in-person training designed to give you everything you need to pass the Part 107 Drone License exam and six months access to their full online Part 107 Test Prep course and student guide. With this package, you also get a full day of in-person drone pilot training with an expert flight instructor and access to multiple online courses. Upon FAA certification, the scholarship recipient will receive a drone with 4K camera as well as photography mentoring and service opportunities with Images for Good, a nonprofit photography mentoring organization. The applicant must be a female WAI member, 16 years of age or older. We are looking for an individual interested in drone photography who also demonstrates a commitment to serving her community and/or mentoring the next generation. Include in your essay the answers to the following questions: 1) What interests you about drones and drone photography? 2) Is there a fallen military service member you would like to honor or who inspires you? Please describe. 3) What kind of community service have you been involved in and how would you use this scholarship to serve your community even more?
