This program addresses the modification to ATP certification requirements for transition from commercial pilot certification to an airline transport operational environment and meets all FAA requirements and regulations (FAR 61.156). Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age, possess FAA commercial, multi-engine and instrument or military experience per 61.73. Successful completion of this course fulfills eligibility requirements for students to take the ATP knowledge test. The ATP Certificate Training Program is seven days long and is offered at CAE's Dallas, Texas facility and includes ground school (32 hours), flight training (crew or single): four hours FTD/eight hours FFS.
