This program addresses the modification to ATP certification requirements for transition from commercial pilot certification to an airline transport operational environment and meets all FAA requirements and regulations (FAR 61.156). Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess an FAA commercial certificate and multiengine and instrument ratings, or have military experience per FAR 61.73.
Successful completion of this course fulfills eligibility requirements for students to take the ATP knowledge test. The ATP Certificate Training Program is seven days and is offered at CAE's Dallas, Texas, facility includes ground school (32 hours), flight training (crew or single): four hours FTD/eight hours FFS.
