Build Chapter Partnerships – Fundraise like a Pro

Presented by Lyndse Costabile President of FunD Av Consulting LLC and Special Guest; Trissy Pickett, GoRentals

Sponsored by GoRentals

Thursday, March 17, 2022

2:30-4:00 p.m.

Canal E

In its 12th consecutive year, Lyndse is shaking up this interactive, engaging session to give you the tools to deliver a solid corporate partner program within a WAI professional or collegiate chapter, or maybe you run a small aviation organization looking to revamp your entire fundraising outfit. Great! You’ve come to the right session. Be ready to laugh, gain insights, take lots of notes, converse with your peers, and really see how best to approach prospects to secure gifts meaningful to both your cause and the donor’s philanthropic - even corporate giving - goals. Different than previous years, this year the session will introduce ‘coming to the table’ with shared perspectives by two-year session sponsor, Go Rentals. Also in this session, we will cover proper ways to identify, cultivate, engage, steward and retain corporate partners, and plan your annual fundraising strategy. Participants will leave the workshop understanding the steps needed to create a solid case for support to communicate in securing financial support, with a focus on setting yourself apart from a competitive fundraising market. Lyndse will even walk participants through IRS rules and guidelines governing the nonprofit industry, specifically 501 (c) 3 entities. As veteran attendees recall, this is also a ‘gift giving’ session. Attend to find out why!
