WAI Membership Drive at Mid-Year Mark

At its annual conference, Women in Aviation, International launched a new membership campaign with the theme of "Just Ask Someone." This program asks each of WAI's members to acquire one new member, with the goal of doubling the size of the organization. Pins with the campaign slogan on them were distributed at the March Conference in Dallas.

Once a member signs up a new member, she is given a new button to wear that says, "I Got One." Members who recruited multiple members will be awarded prizes of merchandise valued up to $200 as well as their own membership renewal and registration for the 2006 WAI Conference.

"Healthy organizations depend on new members to keep them healthy and so we are always looking for new and fun ways to increase our membership. Who better than a current member to convince an individual to join WAI?" said Dr. Peggy Chabrian, WAI President and Founder.
