Dallas, Texas - The 16th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference has broken all previous year's records with the highest number of companies exhibiting, the most booth spaces ever sold and attendance for this year is already running ahead of last year's totals
Conference Founder and Women in Aviation, International President Dr. Peggy Chabrian announced the conference totals today during the annual Media Breakfast co-hosted by Cessna Aircraft Company and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). "The number of exhibiting companies totaled 118 a record number of companies participating in our show. The number of booth spaces which was 184, up 2% percent from last year. Attendance is expected to reach 2,800 by the end of the conference with the closing banquet on Saturday evening," said Chabrian.
"We are thrilled to see the continued interest and participation in the Women in Aviation Conference by the world's leading aviation and aerospace companies," Chabrian said. "Their support, including exhibiting, sponsorship and scholarship donations, is what makes this such a dynamic event that has continued to grow each year and is making a difference in the lives of so many women."
Women in Aviation, International is a nonprofit 501(C) (3) organization dedicated to providing networking, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women and men who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
