Alliances Mark the Theme for the 16th Annual Women in Aviation, International Conference
Daytona Beach, Florida— Women in Aviation, International is capitalizing on the importance of strategic alliances in the aviation industry during its 2005 Annual International Women in Aviation Conference, with the theme: Achieving Individual and Industry Success Through Strategic Alliances. The venue is the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Dallas, Texas, and the dates: March 10-12, 2005.
Alliances strengthen individual companies and the overall industry. Strategic alliances can improve both a professional and personal life. There will be three days of inspiring speakers; a trade show and job fair exhibit area, more than 40 informative seminars and lots of networking opportunities. This conference is about more than just professional success—it is a chance to speak face-to-face with other women who have juggled career and family, or were first in their field. Opportunities to meet mentors—or help inspire others will abound. Men and women attend the annual WAI Conference—taking advantage of the chance to interact with leaders from all sectors of aviation.
Scholarship applications for the 2005 season will post on www.wai.org, the WAI web site, in August, followed by publication in Aviation For Women magazine this coming September. Sponsorship opportunities for this international conference, which draws more than 2,500 men and women from all walks of aviation and aerospace, are available today. For sponsorship information contact Dr. Peggy Chabrian, president of Women in Aviation, International at pchabrian@wai.org, or phone at: (386) 226-7996 for more information.
