Daytona Beach, Florida—Have you ever wished you could walk right up and thank some of the strong-willed, intelligent women and men who have shaped the modern aviation and aerospace industry? Ever wanted to speak with a Women’s Airforce Service Pilot? Meet a woman who passed the tests the first astronaut candidates took? Shake the hand of the pioneers who tore down gender barriers within the industry? You can do that Friday, March 12, at a special fund-raising event being held that evening at the Reno Hilton Hotel, during the 15th Annual Women in Aviation, International Conference.

The Donor and Volunteer Special Recognition Night will feature a new documentary honoring the WASP. We will also recognize and thank the many donors to the WAI Endowment Fund, volunteers who make the annual conference a success, sponsoring companies and all of those organizations that contribute to the expansive experience of the conference.

The 2004 theme is Aviation's Changing Face: Celebrating 15 Years of Education and Promise and the organization intends to do just that on Saturday, March 13, by honoring a new crop of scholarship recipients and Pioneer Hall of Fame recipients during the conference’s closing banquet.

Join us at the Reno Hilton and be part of one of the largest gatherings of women aviation professionals in the world. Attendance is expected to exceed 2,500. More than 170 exhibit spaces are confirmed to date—and personnel from companies’ human resources departments will staff many stations. If you are job hunting, bring your resume and dress for success.

Whether you are looking for an exciting career in aviation and aerospace, or you are an employer looking for a qualified, diverse group of potential employees, you owe it to yourself to spend time at the Conference billed “the best positive energy in the business.” Join us to celebrate 15 years of inspiring women to move into aviation and aerospace careers through our networking, mentoring and scholarship programs.
