Women in Aviation Announces 2004 Scholarship Opportunities

DAYTONA BEACH, FL--And they’re out! The 2004 scholarship listings are now available online at www.wai.org. Women in Aviation, International has given out $3 million in scholarships since 1996. Last year alone $300,000 was awarded to Women in Aviation members during the organization’s annual international conference.

Check out last year’s winners and this year’s awards, and then download an application for this year’s scholarships online at www.wai.org. You could win! Scholarship recipients include pilots, mechanics, engineers, students, teachers, and even business people involved in aviation. Awards range in value from $500 to more than $25,000. Any member can apply. Please read scholarship descriptions carefully to make sure you meet the requirements and follow the application’s directions carefully.

If you aren’t a WAI member you can sign up today for only $39.00 a year (student memberships are available for $29). You’ll receive a member benefits package and when you return home your copy of Aviation for Women magazine and our online newsletter, WAI Online, will be waiting for you. Join us at our Regional Conferences for networking and support, and at our International conference next year, March 11-13, in Reno, where the awards will be distributed.
