Lynda S. Moerschbaecher

Lynda Moerschbaecher was born in Illinois and grew up in rural Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin before moving to California, where she earned a Law Degree and a Masters in Business from Golden Gate University. She worked for Bank of America as a tax expert before joining the staff of Yale University.

She founded her own law firm in 1980 and continues to serve as Senior Partner. Many refer to her as "one of the three leading attorneys in North America on the intergenerational transfer of wealth." Her client profile is often a CEO with a personal net worth of $10 million to $100 million. She founded and serves as CEO of a software company. She founded a professional journal, Charitable Gift Planning News, which is now in its 15th year of publication. She is the author of over 200 professional articles. She was the first woman president of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council. She was the founding president of San Francisco Women Tax Lawyers. Lynda is the author of four books. The latest, Start at Square One, is published by Precept Press.

Moerschbaecher maintains memberships in EAA, AOPA, American Bonanza Society, American Bar Association, California State Bar, San Francisco Bar Association, National Speakers Association and Women in Aviation, International.

Lynda recently sold her low-time 1968 Model 36 Bonanza and has taken both glider and aerobatic lessons. A glider or tail dragger are likely next choices for a plane.
