Lt. Col. Kathleen Creveling

Creveling got her start in aviation in the U.S. Air Force (though her earliest attempts to fly were off her own front porch with a towel pinned at her neck for a "supergirl" cape). She spent 10 years on active duty as a T-38 instructor and C141 air refueling and aircraft commander.

After leaving active duty in 1989 she continued her career in the USAFR as a C141 airland/air refueling instructor, operational plans officer and community outreach. Creveling retired in 2006 as a Lt. Colonel.

Kathleen J. Creveling is currently a United Airlines Airbus 320 Captain based at Washington D.C.'s Dulles International Airport. She serves as WAI's Secretary and Board member. Creveling was a 737-300 Captain and Line Check airman and has flown the B777, DC 10, 767/757, B732-200 and B727.
