Jerry Chabrian

Jerry Chabrian has been flying for fun for 30 years. Having learned to fly at Southern Illinois University while seeking degrees in Broadcast Communication and Electrical Engineering, Chabrian has used aviation to embellish both business and personal aspects of life. He is a private pilot with 1300 hours, has a Seaplane rating, is an aircraft homebuilder and an ultralight pilot.

Chabrian is a longtime member of EAA and is a board member of the EAA Young Eagles Advisory Council. He is chairman of the Young Eagles/Youth Aviation Activities Center at Sun ‘n Fun and is a member of the Education Committee at the Sun ‘n Fun Air Museum. He has served on the Hillsborough County Museum of Science and Industry Aviation Council. Chabrian was the founder and chairman of Radio Station WIDB. His present business operations include restaurant, real estate and aircraft leasing. He is a board member of the Southeastern Store Owners Association. He has chaired the Tampa Bay Marketing council for twenty years and was a member of the National Dealer Marketing Council. Chabrian is also an organizer for the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon.
