| Cassandra Bosco
Cassandra Bosco has served as senior manager, media
relations, for the National Business Aviation Association
(NBAA) since January 1988. In this capacity she is responsible
for the Association's communications and media relations
programs, production of the NBAA Business Aviation Fact
Book, and aviation education efforts.
As staff aviation education specialist, Bosco serves
on the Corporate Aviation Management Professional Development
Progam (PDP) executive committee and is a liaison with
the University Aviation Association (UAA) National Intercollegiate
Flying Association, Women in Aviation and other aviation
education organizations. She is a founding member of the
National Coalition on Aviation Education.
Bosco entered the aviation Field in 1983 as communications
assistant for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association
(GAMA). In 1985, she assumed responsibility for GAMA's
aviation education programs, expanding her duties as GAMA
public relations assistant.
Bosco has been an active UAA Member since 1985, serving
two terms on the Board of Trustees and as Secretary in
1986. In 1997, she was resented with the Alpha Eta Rho
professional aviation society award for "outstanding contribution
to and understanding the effects of aviation and its development
upon the world."
In 1991, she received the Estridge Award from American
Airlines for dedicated service to Aviation Education.
Bosco serves on the board of directors for Women in Aviation
International, and is a member of the Executive Committee.
She also is a member of the Aero Club of Washington, International
Aviation Club, Brewer Aviation Education Award Selection
Committee, and founding member of the Aviation Communications
Coalition. Bosco also has served as the publicity director
for the Vienna Jaycees.
Bosco is a 1979 graduate of Tufts University in Medford,
Massachusetts, with a double B.A. in History and Psychology.
